Welcome to Tar River Poetry's submission manager.
To submit, please send NO MORE than five unpublished original poems as a single file. PLEASE DO NOT upload poems individually. Simultaneous submissions are fine as long as you notify us immediately if a poem is accepted elsewhere.
We believe that writers of poetry should also be readers of poetry. With your submission you may conveniently purchase a one- or two-year subscription to TRP, or a single sample issue. You do not have to subscribe for us to consider your work for publication, and making a purchase will not influence our editorial decision. However, if you purchase a subscription or sample issue, or if you are a current subscriber, we will expedite our editorial decision. We promise to respond with a "yes" or a "no thanks" within two weeks of receiving your submission.
If you prefer, you may purchase a simple "expedited decision" without subscribing.
For all other submissions, we'll respond no later than December 15th, 2024.
You should receive an auto-reply from us immediately after sending your work. If you don't, please check to be sure your email spam-blocker does not have submissions@tarriverpoetry.com blocked.
